How to schedule your free local pickup
1. Tell us about your vehicle and Orlando location

2. Choose a pickup window that works for you
Our team confirms your address anywhere in the Orlando Metro—from College Park to Hunters Creek, Apopka, or Oviedo—and offers a pickup window. You don’t have to be home if paperwork is ready, but you can request a time frame that fits your schedule within normal towing hours.
3. Prepare your Florida title, keys, and vehicle location
Before pickup, locate and sign your Florida title correctly for donation, remove personal items, and place the keys where you’ll leave the vehicle. If you won’t be home, arrange a secure spot for title and keys (like under a floor mat) and tell our team exactly how the driver can access them.
4. Flatbed or tow truck arrives and hauls it away free
A local Orlando-area towing partner arrives during your pickup window with a flatbed or hook-and-chain truck. They load your vehicle safely from your driveway, curb, or lot. You pay absolutely $0—towing is fully covered and never billed back to you later.
5. Donation is processed and your tax receipt is mailed
After pickup, your vehicle is sold and proceeds go to Heritage for the Blind, a 501(c)(3). You’ll receive a tax receipt for at least $500 by mail; for donations over $500, you’ll get the documentation needed for IRS Form 1098-C for your records.

Tight condo or downtown parking that a flatbed can’t reach
Tip: In areas like Thornton Park, Downtown Orlando, or Millenia-area apartments, tight garages or low clearances can block tow access. If possible, park the car in an open lot, visitor space, or on a nearby legal street so the driver can load it safely.
Missing gate codes or community access instructions
Tip: Many communities in Lake Nona, Hunters Creek, and Metrowest are gated. Be sure to share your gate code, call box instructions, or guardhouse procedure when scheduling. Without this, drivers may have to reschedule, delaying your pickup by several days.
Very rural or outlying addresses beyond core Orlando Metro
Tip: If you’re outside the main metro—toward Bithlo, Christmas, or rural stretches past Clermont or St. Cloud—routing can take longer. Give clear landmarks, driveway directions, and any unpaved-road notes so the towing partner can plan the right truck and reach you sooner.
Title or keys not ready when the tow truck arrives
Tip: If the Florida title isn’t signed or the keys can’t be found at arrival, the driver usually can’t complete pickup. Before your window, double-check that the title, keys, and vehicle are exactly where you told us they’d be to avoid rescheduling.
